Full-Time, Permanent and Term Positions
Monday through Friday - 37.5 hours per week
We are recruiting for a Lead Early Childhood Educator to become part of our talented and committed child care community at the NEW White Pine Children’s Centre. The Lead ECE works alongside the Program Coordinator to daily support the families, children and the team at White Pine Children’s Centre and School Age Programs.

Qualifications:
- Early Childhood Education Diploma
- Proof of membership in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators
- Standard First Aid with Infant/Child CPR - Level (C) certification
- Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check
- Supervisor experience minimum two years’ experience preferred

Position responsibilities:
- Ensure a family-centred, quality child care and early learning program for young children, and before and after school programs for school age children
- Provide guidance and support for staff members, empowering them to reach their full potential
- Assists in maintaining accurate program records
- Maintaining a positive and consistent approach toward guiding children’s success, consistent with the philosophy and Program Statement of London Children’s Connection
- Building positive relationships with the children, families, colleagues, and community
- Has open and ongoing communication with the Program Coordinator and Program Manager
